Letterpress Wedding Present.

I had an order to prepare today as a wedding present: a set of letterpress cards in an elegant box, personnalised with the initials of the bride ans the groom :)

"La croquande" freshly baked for the country market this morning, something new for the new year. Merci maman, je n'y avais pas pensé, elles sont parties comme des p'tits pains :)

A new project.

 

 

Letterpress: in process.

This afternoon, I'm working with my letterpress this afternoon. My one is called Adana, a bit 'vintage' and a lot smaller than the one below, but still doing some pretty things. :)

"MAGIC" goodie bags.

I surprised myself today: it's quite crazy how much I can get fun taking pictures of a paper bag... well, I know why ... this one is "MAGIC" :)

 

 

 

 

 

Letterpress.

More than a year ago, after the sale of a painting, I finally decided to invest my little saving in an authentic Adana letterpress. For a while now,  I am absolutely facinated by the letterpress work, its geniosity and elegance. I also like the machine itself, the mecanic there and all the little tools coming with.

"My one" it's a treasure: heaven is the new house of its previous owner, so when the family sold the Adana, they were also selling all the little world around it... and I feel deeply grateful and in charge of it now.

I am learning. The system. The mistakes. The paper. The thickness. The stains. The surprise. The uniqueness.

The last picture is my first creation. I have ideas... coming soon. For now, it's there. Enjoy!

 

 

 

 

 

 

After the house. At home.

I still have the corridor and the landing to finish, so I think that it for the house renovation story. At least for now. It was great fun to go back and see the before pictures and play around to do the after ones, they are good memories of the last months. And thank you all for following me days after days through that project, I hope you enjoyed it... but of course it's not the end! it's never the end anyway when we are talking "houses" ;)
